Focus on what you're currently doing

Let go of the constant feeling that you need to be doing something else. Let yourself focus completely and continuously on the work you’re now doing.

If you try to switch too quickly from one thing to another and back again, much of your attention gets left behind. Give each task the undivided attention it deserves.

Seek to stay singularly focused until you reach a natural stopping point. You can then fully let go of what you had been doing and move the whole of your attention on to something else.

Your attention is valuable, and deserves to be protected as you would protect your money or other valuables. Just realise the power of your attention.

Enjoy the robust awareness that comes with deep and sustained investment of your attention. Gather novel and original insights rather than predictable and hollow impressions.

Step away from the meaningless noise. Feel the freedom. Create the space to truly think. Focus and understand.

- Richard Waita

Don't imagine that successful people are more talented than you.

Don't imagine that successful people are more talented than you.

This is far from the truth, on the contrary, you are more intelligent than most of them.

Where successful people excel, is constant and never ending improvement. Consistent and sickening hard work ethic. So they work harder and smarter than you do.

Believe it or not, hard work will always beat talent, when talent doesn't work hard.

In case you procrastinate often, and feel that you are lazy, just know that Working hard is an art that can be learned.

@Richard Waita

Stay focused.... This will blow your mind.

Stay focused. We often get sidetracked because we are worrying too much about whose watching, what they are thinking and what's being said.

Who cares.. Don't be held captive due to their harmless opinions. People can assume but they will never be able to predict your next winning move.

Albert Einstein clearly stated that the one who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new.

The world thrives from people who get out there and who don't mind being laughed at or ridiculed as long as they stay resilient and keep the vision of what is possible in front of them.

Live your dream but do not let your dream outlive you. There is more winning to do.

Believe the Champion in You!

Mindset is the power house to success

*MINDSET IS THE POWER HOUSE TO SUCCESS*

Poverty does not start from the pocket. It begins from the mind...At every age, everyone has the capacity to draw wealth. Your age does not limit your future.

The mind can go as far as you can stretch it. How much mind exercise do you do everyday?

The human mind is poor by doubt but rich by faith. When you stretch your mind, it gets you to things and places no one else has ever imagined.

Where you are today is a product of your mind and where you will be tomorrow is still the product of your mind. If you see yourself in the sky tomorrow, that is where you will be. If you still see yourself around many excuses, that is where you will always be stuck at.

You have to think and think big. Always remember, there are no known laws that restricts one from thinking big. *Always think big.*

Opportunity enriches those who accept it without doubt when they find one. Opportunity doesn't wait for any one.

THINK BIG.....
THINK I CAN....
THINK ITS POSSIBLE...

GET THE BEST.

-Richard Waita

Be passionate

"Be passionate about your goal. Passion transform people from average to excellence. Find purpose, find passion. Do it well, someday you shall be rewarded for what you are passionate about. Find something you like to do so much that you would gladly do even for nothing. Do it consistently then watch yourself!
Avoid firefighters in your journey to fulfill your life purpose, they will throw cold water on the fire of your passion burning within you.
However, there are fire lighters who love to go out of their ways to keep your fire hot. Identify them and pitch your tent with them. They are goal getters. With the fire lighters, be sure that you're in to achieve greatly."

  - Richard Waita

Pay no attention to how difficult it has been, or will be. Focus only on what you can do right now.

"Pay no attention to how difficult it has been, or will be. Focus only on what you can do right now.

Put the whole of your attention and energy into what you can do now and what you are doing now. Give your best to it; Learn from it; Pull more and more excellence out of it.

In the small moments, big achievements are built. Success is a matter of fully utilising the small moments.

It’s great to have big ambitions and high expectations, and to let them drive you forward. For today though, focus intently on what you can do today and get it done to the best of your ability.

The task at hand may seem minor. This is the task that matters the most now, because this is the task you are doing.

Give all your respect and focus to each and every step along the way. By so doing, you’ll reach the most spectacular destination you can imagine."

A story of a great man, Richard writes...

A great man once said if you
take all the money in the world and distribute them equally among people
after a while all the -monies will go back to their original owners. Why?

The poor are
mainly consumers and the rich are mainly investors.

Show me a POOR man and I'll show you a man who

P - Passes
O - Over
O - Opportunities
R - Repeatedly.

A man who sees challenges in every opportunity instead of seeing opportunity in every challenge.

Being a MAN is not a title, it's a responsibility. It means you have to answer financially in the
M - Morning
A - Afternoon and
N - Night.

You must take great risks to receive greater rewards.

You must plan and strategize, you must value profit not wages, you must be focused and you must be determined if you want good success.

Last but not least, You must involve God.

*"The worst people on earth to serve are the POOR PEOPLE"*

POOR:  *meaning*  "Passing Over Opportunities Repeatedly"

*See the reasons below:*

1)Give them for free, they will think it is a trap.

2)Tell them it's a small investment, they will say you can't earn much.

3)Tell them to come in BIG, they will say "I don't have any money".

4)Tell them to try new things, they will say "no experience; has it been proven to work? Who has gained from it before?".

5)Tell them it's a traditional business, they'll say "it's too HARD to do".

6)Tell them it is a new business model, they will say "I don't do network marketing and how many years has this business model been existing?".

7)Tell them to run a shop, they will say "I will be tied down, I'll have no freedom".

8)Tell them to follow a 5-year business plan, they will say "it's too long. Please, I can't wait for so long".

9)Ask them what can they do? They will say "I can do ANYTHING".

10)They like to ask friends who are as hopeless as themselves to get their opinions.
11) They think more than a University Professor and do less than a blind man.

Penny wise, Pound foolish.

One major challenge POOR people have is "LACK OF ACTION!"

They enjoy their comfort zone, dwelling and swimming in their "own type of knowledge".

Anything beyond their reason "can't work, and therefore it is fraudulent"

This is the cause!

Remember: It's RISKY to take a RISK, but it's even RISKIER not to take any risk at all...

*BE POSITIVE*
*BE SMART*
*BE PRO-ACTIVE*

*Learn to try out new things*
*The world is not ruled only by prayer warriors but by mental warriors who act and push with all they have*

Act now!!!!!!

Working on your goals.

If you have some goals and dreams out there that you are trying to accomplish, then you have to be prepared to stick it out.

It's difficult;
it's hard;
it's challenging but it's worth it!

It is in moments of difficulties that we are introduced to our true self; that's where new ideas begin to pop up; and we get to know our strengths and capabilities!

If it can't kill you, it makes you stronger! Learn from it and move on.

I know it's painful; it's not easy to pick yourself up after a devastating "knock-out".

And sometimes it's really hard to try again after a failure. But you have to harness your will; get back up on your feet. And tell yourself - it's not over until I win!

You can do it. I BELIEVE IN YOU!

Law of life.

LAW OF LIFE

When a newspaper reporter interviewed a farmer who grew Award-Winning Maize each year he entered his maize in the Agricultural Show, it was revealed that the farmer shared his seed with his neighbours.

Perplexed, the reporter asked, “How can you afford to share your best seed with your neighbours when they are entering their maize in competition with yours each year?”

The farmer smiled knowingly and explained, *“The wind picks up pollen from the ripening maize and swirls it from field to field.* If my neighbours grow inferior maize, Cross-Pollination will steadily degrade the quality of my maize.

If I am to grow good maize, I must help my neighbours grow a good crop.

*”So it is with our lives. Those who want to live meaningfully and well, must help enrich the lives of others.*

For the value of a life, is measured by the lives it touches. *And those who choose to be happy, must help others find happiness.*

For the welfare of each is bound up with the welfare of all.
Call it power of collectivity.
Call it a principle of success. Call it a law of life.

The fact remains, “None of us truly wins, until we all win.”

Love your neighbour as yourself.

Know this secret as you grow older!

The more people you help succeed, the more you succeed.

In life, when you help the people around you to be good, you surely become the best.

   - Richard Waita

Life is not easy, it's hard. Expect pain and be tough with ups and downs along the way.

Life is not easy. It's hard!

To win, you must get tough. There will be pain. There will be ups and downs along the way.

There will be disappointments and name-calling. There will be failures. Sometimes you will make mistakes.

People will doubt you and laugh at you. In fact, life itself will throw heavy punches at you.

But do not back down! Don't give in. Don't quit on your dream. Don't quit on your yourself. Do not quit! Never!

Just stay focused. And accept nothing but victory! If life is hard, then do it the hard way.

Remember, winners never quit and quitters never win. Don't forget , you have a seed of success with in you.

YOU ARE BORN TO ACHIEVE!

If you can DREAM IT, you can DO IT

By Richard Waita

🍃🍂🍃🍂🍃🍂🍃🍂🍃🍂🍃🍂🍃🍂

DREAMS

“Commit yourself to a dream. Nobody who tries to do something great, but fails, is a total failure. Why? Because he can always be assured that he succeeded in life's most important battle; he defeated the battle of not trying.” - Robert H. Schuller

No matter who you are in life, you can dream. No matter what you have accomplished in life, you can dream again. No matter where, when, why or how many times you may have failed, don’t fold your arms and give up; just keep dreaming!

When you think of your future, what thoughts come flooding through your mind? Are they pleasant, exciting and motivating? What would you aspire to do or become if you were certain that you would not fail? What plans, projects or goals would you have on the drawing board if you knew you could find the resources to pull them off? And who said you would fail or not find the resources?

Many of the assumptions and limitations we place on ourselves and our potential for achievement and future greatness are imaginary and man-made. They are neither principles nor laws. We believe them either because we learnt them, someone told us or because everyone else does.

Achievers are dreamers. They succeed by choosing to ignore the restrictions that others place on themselves. As a result, they have very fertile imaginations and great ideas about their future and the things they can do or become.

Achievers enjoy the thrill of dreaming about big things and the challenge of taking on these dreams, defying the status quo and making them a reality. They handle their failures gracefully because they see them as temporary setbacks that will leave them better equipped to continue pursuing their dreams.

Disneyland is what it is today because of the dreams of Walt Disney. Notably no financier took him seriously when he shared it. In his own words, “I could never convince the financiers that Disneyland was feasible because dreams offer too little collateral.”

Here are four attributes that all dreamers have. Cultivate them in your life if you want to be successful and fulfilled.

1. Curiosity. Dreamers have what is known as creative curiosity. They do not accept things just because everyone else does. Instead they ask the dynamic questions that release creativity and possibilities. Whenever they acquire new knowledge, or insight, their first response is to question the status quo. Why is this impossible? What would it take to achieve it? Who would be needed?

2. Courage. To dream is to take a chance and step out of your comfort zone into the unknown. This means exposing your self to the possibility of failure and disappointment; and that takes real courage and conviction.

3. Confidence. You need confidence to dream big: confidence in God, in yourself and in your dreams. Doubters will question your right to dream. Some would even try to explain why things would not work out. Achievers are able to sidestep all distractions and confidently press on to success.

4. Constancy. Dreamers follow things through, tie things up, finish the work, and never give up. They stick with their dream through thick and thin. They do not waver in their convictions. Instead, they are predictable in their commitment to their goals. They tap into the incredible power generated by an uncompromising commitment to the consistent pursuit of their dreams.

Key Thought: If you can DREAM IT, you can DO IT!

Take The Jump

🍃🍂🍃🍂🍃🍂🍃🍂🍃🍂🍃🍂🍃🍂

“Enough of thinking, “This fear and lack of courage to take the jump, to dive deep into life and let go totally is crippling….” Then just jump - you have nothing to lose but everything to gain.

Karl Marx in his COMMUNIST MANIFESTO has a beautiful statement at the very end. With a little change, it can be used for you. His statement is, “Proletarians of the world unite, because you have nothing to lose except your chains.” Just a little change: thinkers of the world unite, you have nothing to lose but your chains, and you have the whole existence to gain.

You can go on enjoying longing for beautiful and great things. People become addicted to dreams - dreams are more addictive than any drugs. In fact, people become addicted to drugs because drugs give beautiful dreams. Dreams are the root cause of addiction, and these are also dreams.

Just have courage, you are not a cripple. And it needs only a single moment to take the jump.”

There once was a very wealthy and curious king. This king had a huge boulder placed in the middle of a road. Then he hid nearby to see if anyone would try to remove the gigantic rock from the road.

The first people to pass by were some of the king’s wealthiest merchants and courtiers. Rather than moving it, they simply walked around it. A few loudly blamed the King for not maintaining the roads. Not one of them tried to move the boulder.

Finally, a peasant came along. His arms were full of vegetables. When he got near the boulder, rather than simply walking around it as the others had, the peasant put down his load and tried to move the stone to the side of the road. It took a lot of effort but he finally succeeded.

The peasant gathered up his load and was ready to go on his way when he saw a purse lying in the road where the boulder had been. The peasant opened the purse. The purse was stuffed full of gold coins and a note from the king. The king’s note said the purse’s gold was a reward for moving the boulder from the road.

The king showed the peasant what many of us never understand: every obstacle presents an opportunity to improve our condition.

JUST ELIMINATE THE BARRIER OF SUCCESS, AND YOU'LL BE SUCCESSFUL.

During a research experiment a marine biologist placed a shark into a large holding tank and then released several small bait fish into the tank.

As you would expect, the shark quickly swam around the tank, attacked and ate the smaller fish.

The marine biologist then inserted a strong piece of clear fiberglass into the tank, creating two separate partitions. She then put the shark on one side of the fiberglass and a new set of bait fish on the other.

Again, the shark quickly attacked.  This time, however, the shark slammed into the fiberglass divider and bounced off.  Undeterred, the shark kept repeating this behavior every few minutes to no avail.  Meanwhile, the bait fish swam around unharmed in the second partition.  Eventually, about an hour into the experiment, the shark gave up.

This experiment was repeated several dozen times over the next few weeks.  Each time, the shark got less aggressive and made fewer attempts to attack the bait fish, until eventually the shark got tired of hitting the fiberglass divider and simply stopped attacking altogether.

The marine biologist then removed the fiberglass divider, but the shark didn’t attack.  The shark was trained to believe a barrier existed between it and the bait fish, so the bait fish swam wherever they wished, free from harm.

The moral:  Many of us, after experiencing setbacks and failures, emotionally give up and stop trying. Like the shark in the story, we believe that because we were unsuccessful in the past, we will always be unsuccessful. In other words, we continue to see a barrier in our heads, even when no ‘real’ barrier exists between where we are and where we want to go.

Steve Job's Last Words....

Steve jobs’ Last Words -
I reached the pinnacle of success in the business world.
In others’ eyes, my life is an epitome of success.
However, aside from work, I have little joy. In the end, wealth is only a fact of life that I am accustomed to.
At this moment, lying on the sick bed and recalling my whole life, I realize that all the recognition and wealth that I took so much pride in, have paled and become meaningless in the face of impending death.
In the darkness, I look at the green lights from the life supporting machines and hear the humming mechanical sounds, I can feel the breath of god of death drawing closer…
Now I know, when we have accumulated sufficient wealth to last our lifetime, we should pursue other matters that are unrelated to wealth…
Should be something that is more important:
Perhaps relationships, perhaps art, perhaps a dream from younger days ...
Non-stop pursuing of wealth will only turn a person into a twisted being, just like me.
God gave us the senses to let us feel the love in everyone’s heart, not the illusions brought about by wealth.
The wealth I have won in my life I cannot bring with me.
What I can bring is only the memories precipitated by love.
That’s the true riches which will follow you, accompany you, giving you strength and light to go on.
Love can travel a thousand miles. Life has no limit. Go where you want to go. Reach the height you want to reach. It is all in your heart and in your hands.
What is the most expensive bed in the world? - "Sick bed" …
You can employ someone to drive the car for you, make money for you but you cannot have someone to bear the sickness for you.
Material things lost can be found. But there is one thing that can never be found when it is lost – "Life".
When a person goes into the operating room, he will realize that there is one book that he has yet to finish reading – "Book of Healthy Life".
Whichever stage in life we are at right now, with time, we will face the day when the curtain comes down.
Treasure Love for your family, love for your spouse, love for your friends...
Treat yourself well. Cherish others.☺❤

When everything seems to be going against you, remember that the airplane takes off against the wind, not with it. Waita writes

"When everything seems to be going against you, remember that the airplane takes off against the wind, not with it." -- Henry Ford

Sticking to your investing strategy whether you are winning or losing requires a great deal of persistent risk takers. Average investors lack persistence and that's why they will forever remain average. They jump from one strategy to another and are always looking for the next tip, simply because the current ones is proving to be more risky that they had envisioned.

Henry Ross Perot said, "Most people give up just when they are about to achieve success. They quit on one yard line. They give up at the last minute of the game one foot from a winning touch down."

Sometimes, it takes perserverance and persistence to avert from being a mediocre-business man to being a profitable/ remunerative business owner. The fact that you started means that you are a step ahead towards success.

Keep at it, till you win it.

THE SECRET ABOUT MONEY

Richard Waita
🍃🍂🍃🍂🍃🍂🍃🍂🍃🍂🍃🍂🍃🍂

The secret about money! Money is a resource that everyone is after, but the secret which everyone isn't aware of, is that money don't just come. It is attracted by the environment one would have created. Instead of pursuing money, pursue an idea. Why? Because money pursue ideas. Take a deep look at how money circulates from one person to another. If you do not have an idea you won't have money. Money doesn't stay in one pocket, on one person. Why? Because no one owns money, no one has power over money. The only thing that has power over money is an idea. An idea is the power of humanity over money. When you have an idea you attract money but it does not mean to say you are going to have it forever. Keep improving, upgrading your idea because money is attracted to the best idea. That is why people believe that money comes and goes. When money leaves your pocket it goes to someone with a better idea than yours. If you want to have money and success in life be a problem solver. Look for problems and turn them into opportunities. There are a lot of successful businesses that fell because of lack of new ideas on how to upgrade and improve their departments. Every rich and successful person started with an idea. These clothes we are putting on started as an idea, these chairs we sit on started as an idea, the light bulb started as an idea, everything else started as an idea, so there is a need to come up with an idea before money. Money is the last thing to consider because it follows our thoughts. The most critical thing needed in life to be successful is not money or anything material but just an idea. Take a deep look into your life and be true to yourself. How many ideas did you come up with and how many have you pursued? Don't blame the economy or anyone, blame yourself and your thinking. Your thoughts made you! Change the way you think and start thinking positively abt your life and take progress. Money is always hidden behind an idea!!!!!*

Introduce something into your life that counts, choose to be success, and become inspiring.

You cannot change yesterday, but you can do something today that can change tomorrow. It doesn't matter how you were born, that was yesterday, it doesn't matter what happened last 5 years, the last 10 years, you may not be able to change that, but you can reposition yourself today. You can make new decisions today, that will change what tomorrow will bring, invest in your future. Refuse to be a mentor hobo,  Refuse to danger your life on sidewalk. Every time I tell you something, I tell you I believe in your future. There is reason I believe in your future. I believe if you here this words you'll act on them and they will change your future. Non of you was born to be poor, you may have been born poor, but you were not born to be poor. You may been brought up poor, but you are not brought up to be poor. Understand this, the definition of adulthood is responsibility. When you become adult, you take responsibility for your future, become responsible what do you have in your self. There are many who cry for help, and because there are no answers to the call for help, they feel the pain in the hands of neglect. No refuse to give up. Believe in what God Made, God made you and He never made a failure, Believe that God has purpose for your life. You may be born as parental accident, but you're not a devine accident. God knew you'll come and made sufficient provision for you, there is place for you in the World and am helping you find that place. There are certain things you must do for all we have discussed to be a reality, there are things not in a bonded supply, they are limited, one of them is time. Save time, save it. Keep track of time, the bible says, redeem the time. The days are evils, you don't have extra time. Life is not a game, make everyday count. Introduce something into your life that counts. Choose to be success,  become inspiring. Distinguish yourself with character, excellent, if you are musician with different. Become inspiring whatever you do, do with excellent. Put yourself in your best in whatever you do, and change your World. Whatever you do now, do it the best way, the first time. Success is waiting for man who says yes to success, Success is waiting for man who plans for it, who reaches out for it. Who says, I'll read this book, and reads. Who says, I'll got to school and goes. Success is waiting for man who makes decision. So time is important, don't spend your time watching Television 24 hours a day. Don't spend your time watching video. Those who You're watching, have put their best for what you're watching. Change your position, say to your self, I'll be watched. There are those think of designers perfume, designers clothes, designers suits... where are your designs? Challenge yourself for the future. There is room for you at the top.Train your mind and use it, it will be able to deliver to you. There's no poverty in man who has made investment in made and is willing to act. There's no to man who has train his mind to think to solve every problem. Decide to be smart, decide to be problem solver. Engage yourself in National issues.

Be humble, Richard Waita writes...

A very humbling experience ....

Richard Waita says... "At the peak of my career, I was once travelling by plane. The passenger next to me was an elderly gentleman dressed in a simple shirt and pants. He appeared to be middle class, and well educated.

Other passengers  perhaps recognising who I was, but this gentleman appeared to be
unconcerned of my presence... He was reading his paper, looking out of the window, and when tea was served, he sipped it quietly.

Trying to strike a conversation with him, I smiled. The man courteously smiled back and said 'Hello'.
We got talking and I brought up the subject of cinema and movies and asked, 'Do you watch films?'
The man replied, 'Oh, very few. I did see one many years ago.'

I mentioned that I worked in the movie industry.
The man replied.." oh, that’s nice. What do you do?' I replied, 'I am an actor ' The man nodded, 'Oh,  that's wonderful!'

And that was it...
When we landed, I held out my hand and said, " It was good traveling with you. By the way, my name is Amitabh Bacchan!'

The man shook my hand
and smiled, "Thank you... nice to have met you..
I am J.R.D. Tata!" (French born Indian Biz man. Billionaire and Aviator founder of Tata motors  and Air india).

I learned on that day that no matter how big you think you are, there is always someone *BIGGER*.
*Be HUMBLE, it costs nothing.*

What is the difference?

As we grow older, and hence wiser, we slowly realize that wearing a $300 or a $30.00 watch - - they both tell the same time. Whether we carry a $300 or a $30.00 wallet/handbag - - the amount of money inside is the same.  Whether the house we live in is 300 or 3000 sq. ft. - - loneliness is the same. Whether you drive a $8,000 Honda or a $80,000 Merc --they both serve the same purpose. You will realize, your true inner happiness does not come from the MATERIAL things of this world.
Therefore, I hope you realize, when you have mates, buddies and old friends, brothers and sisters, who you chat with, laugh with, talk with, have sung songs with, talk about north-south-east-west or heaven and earth - - That is true happiness!!
SIX UNDENIABLE FACTS OF LIFE:
1. Don't educate your children to be rich. Educate them to be happy. So when they grow up they will know the value of things not the price.
2. Best awarded words: "Eat your food as your medicines. Otherwise you have to eat medicines as your food."
3. The One who loves you will never leave you because even if there are 100 reasons to give up he or she will find one reason to hold on.
4. There is a big difference between a human being and being human. Only a few really understand it.
5. You are loved when you are born. You will be loved when you die. In between, You have to manage!
6. If you just want to Walk Fast, Walk Alone! But if you want to Walk Far, Walk Together!
SIX BEST DOCTORS IN THE WORLD:
1. Sunlight
2. Rest
3. Exercise
4. Diet
5. Self Confidence and
6. Friends
Maintain them in all stages of Life and enjoy a healthy life.
The older we get, the fewer things seem worth waiting in line for. -Richard Waita.

Embrace change

If you decide not to decide, you have made a choice by default! Choose what you want to do with your life. But destiny is calling; knocking at the door of your heart. Stop running scared. Be bold and courageous enough to say 'yes' to your dream and embrace your unfolding future. The voice of greatness is calling out loud to you. What are you waiting for? You sure know it deep down your heart. Don't pretend as if you can't hear it. Respond to the call and it will change your life for good. Or reject it and you will be haunted for the rest of your life. The choice is yours. You can either stay down there; in the deep dark pit of hopelessness; wallowing in self-pity or dig yourself out to light and leave your footprints on the sands of time. Either way, your life is going to change. But the question is: what change is it going to be? You can do it. -Richard Waita

Look for your fulfillment.

Look for your fulfillment. Many are lost because they don't know what truly makes them happy. I've been there. We want happiness but fail to understand that happiness is a by product of something fulfilling for you. So we wander around wondering and hoping someone can fill that void for us. Avoid doing that. We must learn to love who we are now despite our human defects. We must come to love who we are becoming and who we will be. These are the 3 necessary phases that can turn ones life around. Yes acceptance of you! Your responsibility is to learn more about the magnificent being that you have always been but have forgotten through all the challenges and set backs of life!
Start dating yourself. Yes! Date you! Learn more about you than anyone else could or would know. Cherish what you have to offer with this limited time here on Earth. Tomorrow is not guaranteed to anyone. It's an honor to awaken with the rising of the sun each day. Respect that privilege and get real on winning and fight for your real self to take on the very challenges needed to bring out the best in you. Pay attention to the person you ignore the most! Get to know the best of you that has a Dream and a Purpose. You have always been worth it! Believe the Champion in You! -Richard Waita

"WHEN I GOT HOME THAT NIGHT AS MY WIFE SERVED DINNER, I HELD HER HAND AND SAID, I'VE GOT SOMETHING TO TELL YOU. WAITA WRITES...

“When I got home that night as my wife served dinner, I held her hand and said, I’ve got something to tell you. She sat down and ate quietly. Again I observed the hurt in her eyes.
Suddenly I didn’t know how to open my mouth. But I had to let her know what I was thinking. I want a divorce. I raised the topic calmly. She didn’t seem to be annoyed by my words, instead she asked me softly, why?
I avoided her question. This made her angry. She threw away the chopsticks and shouted at me, you are not a man! That night, we didn’t talk to each other. She was weeping. I knew she wanted to find out what had happened to our marriage. But I could hardly give her a satisfactory answer; she had lost my heart to Jane. I didn’t love her anymore. I just pitied her!
With a deep sense of guilt, I drafted a divorce agreement which stated that she could own our house, our car, and 30% stake of my company. She glanced at it and then tore it into pieces. The woman who had spent ten years of her life with me had become a stranger. I felt sorry for her wasted time, resources and energy but I could not take back what I had said for I loved Jane so dearly. Finally she cried loudly in front of me, which was what I had expected to see. To me her cry was actually a kind of release. The idea of divorce which had obsessed me for several weeks seemed to be firmer and clearer now.
The next day, I came back home very late and found her writing something at the table. I didn’t have supper but went straight to sleep and fell asleep very fast because I was tired after an eventful day with Jane. When I woke up, she was still there at the table writing. I just did not care so I turned over and was asleep again. Czar Benito:
hat she had grown so thin, that was the reason why I could carry her more easily.
Suddenly it hit me… she had buried so much pain and bitterness in her heart. Subconsciously I reached out and touched her head.
Our son came in at the moment and said, Dad, it’s time to carry mom out. To him, seeing his father carrying his mother out had become an essential part of his life. My wife gestured to our son to come closer and hugged him tightly. I turned my face away because I was afraid I might change my mind at this last minute. I then held her in my arms, walking from the bedroom, through the sitting room, to the hallway. Her hand surrounded my neck softly and naturally. I held her body tightly; it was just like our wedding day.
But her much lighter weight made me sad. On the last day, when I held her in my arms I could hardly move a step. Our son had gone to school. I held her tightly and said, I hadn’t noticed that our life lacked intimacy. I drove to office…. jumped out of the car swiftly without locking the door. I was afraid any delay would make me change my mind…I walked upstairs. Jane opened the door and I said to her, Sorry, Jane, I do not want the divorce anymore.
She looked at me, astonished, and then touched my forehead. Do you have a fever? She said. I moved her hand off my head. Sorry, Jane, I said, I won’t divorce. My marriage life was boring probably because she and I didn’t value the details of our lives, not because we didn’t love each other anymore. Now I realize that since I carried her into my home on our wedding day I am supposed to hold her until death do us apart. Jane seemed to suddenly wake up. She gave me a loud slap and then slammed the door and burst into tears. I walked downstairs and drove away. At the floral shop on the way, I ordered a bouquet of flowers for my wife. The salesgirl asked me what to write on the card. I smiled and wrote, I’ll carry you out every morning until death do us apart.
That evening I arrived home, flowers in my hands, a smile on my face, I run up stairs, only to find my wife in the bed -dead. My wife had been fighting CANCER for months and I was so busy with Jane to even notice. She knew that she would die soon and she wanted to save me from the whatever negative reaction from our son, in case we push through with the divorce. At least, in the eyes of our son - I’m a loving husband….
The small details of your lives are what really matter in a relationship. It is not the mansion, the car, property, the money in the bank. These create an environment conducive for happiness but cannot give happiness in themselves.
So find time to be your spouse’s friend and do those little things for each other that build intimacy. If you are not in a relationship now, remember this for the second (or third) time around. It's never too late.
If you don’t share this, nothing will happen to you.
If you do, you just might save a marriage. Many of life’s failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.
In the morning she presented her divorce conditions: she didn’t want anything from me, but needed a month’s notice before the divorce. She requested that in that one month we both struggle to live as normal a life as possible. Her reasons were simple: our son had his exams in a month’s time and she didn’t want to disrupt him with our broken marriage.
This was agreeable to me. But she had something more, she asked me to recall how I had carried her into out bridal room on our wedding day. She requested that every day for the month’s duration I carry her out of our bedroom to the front door ever morning. I thought she was going crazy. Just to make our last days together bearable I accepted her odd request.
I told Jane about my wife’s divorce conditions. . She laughed loudly and thought it was absurd. No matter what tricks she applies, she has to face the divorce, she said scornfully.
My wife and I hadn’t had any body contact since my divorce intention was explicitly expressed. So when I carried her out on the first day, we both appeared clumsy. Our son clapped behind us, daddy is holding mommy in his arms. His words brought me a sense of pain. From the bedroom to the sitting room, then to the door, I walked over ten meters with her in my arms. She closed her eyes and said softly; don’t tell our son about the divorce. I nodded, feeling somewhat upset. I put her down outside the door. She went to wait for the bus to work. I drove alone to the office.
On the second day, both of us acted much more easily. She leaned on my chest. I could smell the fragrance of her blouse. I realized that I hadn’t looked at this woman carefully for a long time. I realized she was not young any more. There were fine wrinkles on her face, her hair was graying! Our marriage had taken its toll on her. For a minute I wondered what I had done to her.
On the fourth day, when I lifted her up, I felt a sense of intimacy returning. This was the woman who had given ten years of her life to me. On the fifth and sixth day, I realized that our sense of intimacy was growing again. I didn’t tell Jane about this. It became easier to carry her as the month slipped by. Perhaps the everyday workout made me stronger.
She was choosing what to wear one morning. She tried on quite a few dresses but could not find a suitable one. Then she sighed, all my dresses have grown bigger. I suddenly realized it.

Be Strong

It does not matter that some people are laughing behind your back, glad to see you fail, smiling in your face, while pretending to be your friend. You are not your mistakes, your failures, or your disappointments. Be aware, things will happen that you are not prepared for.

Regroup, go back to the drawing board and comeback with a different strategy.  Every day you have the opportunity to relaunch, revive and to reinvigorate your dream. You are more powerful than you realize!  Dig in, challenge yourself and hold the vision. You have GREATNESS within you!

Life choices.

Life is full of choices. We make them all the time. What to eat, what to wear, what to say and what to do. We make choices all the time. It boggles my mind that the one choice we don’t make is the choice to be happy. We just take what life throws at us, and we react to it. You don’t have to do that you have a choice. When life gets you down, make the conscious decision to be happy.

Don’t ignore what’s getting you down, don’t avoid it, but look it squarely in the face (figuratively of course) and say

🙏 “Yeah, this is happening, but I’m not going to let it get me down.” 😉

Look for solutions, look for ways to fix it, and above all, laugh and find joy in the other things around you. Choose hope, not sadness, choose joy and not despair.  Above all, choose YOU!

Stay Motivated

When Life Brings You to the Edge of What You Know, Expand. Go Deep.

Expert Advice:
When Life Brings You to the Edge of What You Know, Expand. Go Deep.
#Life #PositiveThinking

Have you been feeling like you are walking along the edge of a cliff? Like your next step could plunge you into an abyss.
You can’t look down. And it’s too unnerving to stay frozen on this edge. That’s just not an option.

Think about it for a moment. You’ve felt like this before. And in this moment, you’re feeling it again.
Whether the edge is the next leap in your business, your attempt with a new skill (like when I tried the cello), or cracking the code of greater self-discovery, it all has to do with expansion.

Expansion happens at the edges of your known world . It brings you into a new landscape with unfamiliar markers. That, by its nature, is uncomfortable!

Maybe you’re in this place because of an external push from an outside situation. Life has a way of moving, even when you hold on. And you don’t know how things will “work out”.
But you never really know how things will work out, do you?
When this happens to me (and I often find myself at the edge), I see the discomfort as part of my next step. It’s a nudge from the Universe when I’m holding back, and what I really need is to step forward.

Holding back or hiding out may be your first impulse. However, it will not bring you comfort in this new environment. It’s okay to feel uncomfortable, even scared. That makes sense when you are walking along a cliff edge!
But it’s important not to get paralyzed. Or, conversely, not to leap right into action, or dive into planning—doing anything so you don’t feel what you are feeling.

Explore the feeling first. Get curious about it. After all, curiosity gives you space to explore and expand. See what you need.

You might know that you need quiet time. Allow yourself to be truly quiet. Don’t lose yourself in watching TV or reading a book.
What’s important is to work with the expansion. This isn’t the first time you’ve grown into something new. Create space to remember that you’ve been here before. Remember that it has worked out before.
You may bump against old ideas of yourself or of how life is supposed to be. After all, these new experiences are stretching your boundaries, aren’t they? Boundaries are the conditioned, patterned ways of doing and thinking that you learned growing up.

So if you’ve been approaching this in your usual way, perhaps a shift is in order. Claim the freedom to explore, to modify and to experiment.

Start by feeling the ground under your feet and the support that offers. That’s what being grounded means—that the ground will hold you up! You might notice that the quality of your thoughts is different, or you have ideas that surprise you. Hang out with what is new. Welcome these different thoughts. Allow your pictures and ideas to be fluid so that you can discover what lies beyond your edge.
After all, it’s who you are moving into being.

Which by its nature takes you beyond your comfort zone. At some point, you will adjust to the changes . This is where you will feel moved into action.

Go deep. Ground into this new place first. Then know that your next steps are full with the you who you are today.

Where are you now? Where are you headed? Let me know.

10 Bad Habits That Drain Your Energy and How to Quit Them.

10 Bad Habits That Drain Your Energy and How to Quit Them

Do you feel constantly exhausted and worn-out and don’t understand why? The reason is that we tend to maintain habits that drain our energy, and we don’t know how to avoid them. But the solution is very easy — it only takes the will to do it.
Today we at Bright Side bring you 10 things that steal your energy and the solutions to each of them, proposed by the Dalai Lama.

1. Keep your promises

Don’t make promises you can’t keep. In an effort to be nice, you will end up destroying your good name. So if you make a promise, stick with it!

2. Stay away from toxic people

Many times, through wanting to help people, we end up receiving complaints and negative energy from others. Surround yourself with positive people, and avoid the toxic ones.

3. Pay your bills on time

"Don’t owe anyone anything" should be your life motto. Always pay back your debts on time. Treat others the way you would like to be treated.

4. Learn to forgive

If we choose to live with unforgiveness, we choose to suffer. Instead of poisoning yourself with hatred, choose to forgive and move on, whether or not someone deserves your forgiveness. Do it to give yourself peace. You’ll feel like a weight has been lifted off your chest.

5. Focus on doing what you like

Sometimes we need to do things we don’t enjoy, but, when possible, delegate the tasks you don’t like doing and focus on what you are passionate about.

6. A time for every purpose

There’s time to rest and time to act. Both are equally important and necessary in your life. Do not forget it.

7. Don’t clutter...renew!

If you want to let your life flow, don’t get stuck. Start by rearranging your bedroom or renovating your closet. Your home is a reflection of your energy, and clutter blocks its natural flow. So if you want to clear your mind, start by clearing out the clutter in your space.

8. Face adversity

Do not hide from confrontations. If something bothers you, express it and cut it out of your life. Do not wait for the solution to fall from the sky. It’s often right here — you just have to look around.

9. Keep an eye on your health

Even the most brilliant mind can’t do without good health. Those who take care of both their physical and mental health needs are much happier. Spend enough time taking care of your body.

10. Let your life flow

You are a part of everything, and everything is part of you. Stop fighting with life, accept it, and let yourself be carried away by the flow. Just remember that you are the one who navigates the boat.

Life, struggle and thoughts... Richard Waita writes...

Life , struggle and thoughts :::

Everyone faces obstacles and they do struggle in life , in saying struggle I mean struggle of any kind.
Life is not that easy that everything you will get by your will and desire .
Sometimes you don't get what you want at that moment , but later on you will realise that it was good that you didn't get at that time. This is the basic principle of life that is better things are might be kept for your future .

It is quite often said that whatever happens , happens for good only. There might be some hidden logic and rationality . So don't get sad and furious over your present events , instead try to still move on with your life , goal , vision and direction.

It happens quite a time that you would feel what is this , I am not worth this and that ...... but these are the thoughts that will hold you back and if you continue , then these thoughts would act as a spring to reach to your goal.

All the besssssttttttttt ......
-Richard Waita

You gotta climb the ladder.

You gotta climb! Some say that the top is not for you. Some say the top is too high. Some say the top is where the cunning and conceited stay. Some say "why bother"! Some say you can't do that, you are out of your mind. Some will even say you changed. Let them say what they say and you do what you do! No one gets to the top of their fulfillment by being casual. A wise man once said that if you are casual about your life you will become a casualty. Get real with yourself and dig into that vision and climb above the disbelief and pessimism. No one gets to the top of the mountain by drifting. Get to work. I'll see you at the top where the air is fresher and where you can be the first to see the sun rise and the last to see it set. Champion you gotta climb! Approach your challenges with a winning curiosity. Listen to your inner coach and not the critic. Believe the Champion in You. -Richard  Waita

Things that will destroy your career.

7 Things That Will Destroy Your Career

There are so many things that can kill the careers of good, hard-working people. Honest mistakes often carry hard-hitting consequences.

Most people  kill their careers in subtle, decidedly undramatic ways. And it’s a shame because it happens all the time.

All things that you can control before they creep up on you and kill your career.

1. Playing politics.

If you find yourself sneaking around or if you’re embarrassed if some of your behind-the-scenes manipulations come to light, that’s politics. Stick to strategies you’d be proud to discuss in front of your colleagues.

2. Over-promising and under-delivering.

This is one of those situations where perception matters more than reality. Don’t deliberately undershoot your goals; just be realistic about the results you can deliver so that you’re certain to create expectations that you will blow out of the water.

3. Complacency.

If you’re always too busy to learn something new or to expand your network, you’ve got your priorities mixed up. However, if you make continuous growth and development a priority, you’ll be ready for whatever comes your way.

4. Fear of change.

Change is a constant part of our lives, both personally and professionally. It doesn’t matter whether you think things should change or whether you prefer the old ways—change just is. You don’t have to learn to love it, but you do have to learn to stop resisting it and to start adapting to it.

5. Having an inflatable ego.

Never, ever be content with resting on your laurels. Once you start thinking that you’re the cat’s meow, you’re setting yourself up for very painful failure.

6. Low emotional intelligence (EQ).

Emotional outbursts, belittling others, shutting co-workers down when they speak, low self-awareness, and just generally being difficult are other ways that a lack of emotional intelligence will do great harm to your career.

7. Sucking up to your boss.

Suck-ups try to get ahead by stroking the boss’s ego instead of earning his or her favor. That doesn’t go over well with colleagues who are trying to make it on merit. Yes, you want to bolster your relationship with your boss, but not by undermining your colleagues. That’s the key distinction here. For a boss-employee relationship to work, it has to be based on authenticity. There’s no substitute for merit.

Bringing It All Together

A lot of people make the mistake of thinking that they can only damage their careers by making one huge misstep, but the reality is that it’s usually not that dramatic.

Learn how to "get out of your way" to make things happen.

Learn how to "get out of your own way" to make things happen. There are talents and gifts within you that need to breathe. Don't suffocate them with possibility blindness. You can't see everything just yet but in time the person that you will become will be able to. Everything you need to become that person is within you right now. I said right now!
As Russell Conwell states "you are standing in your own acres of diamonds". Know your worth instead of reaching out and running away from you to find it. And the reason why the grass is greener on the other side is because that person took the time to pay attention to their property. So increase your value by investing and taking care of yours. The return will be unlimited. You can be great but that is going to be up to YOU. Just make the decision, set your sail and follow the appropriate course of actions. Action 1. Take 100% responsibility for your life. Action 2. Decide what you want. See you in paradise!! Believe the Champion in You! -Richard  Waita

The first and most important rule of life, is to have some rules by which you operate from and live by. Richard WAITA writes...

The first and most important rule of life, is to have some rules by which you operate from and live by.

Your success, happiness and level of fulfilment will be dictated to you by the rules you have for yourself and the standard you set and accept for yourself.

If you want to thrive, if you want to blossom into the most beautiful and magnificent and powerful version of yourself then you need to develop your very own "modus operandi" - the way in which you operate, conduct yourself and perform.

Not having rules and boundaries for our lives is the main reason why we make choices that negatively impact our progress and stop us from ever reaching our true potential.

You have to have some rules, no matter how basic or simple they may be and those rules may relate to many areas of your life, like how much money you spend or save each week or how much junk food you eat or what time you will wake up or even how much you drink when you are out with your friends.

Most importantly those rules form a larger framework for your existence and cover such things as the standard of your work, how you treat others, what you will tolerate, accept and expose yourself to. It is these rules that will help you to avoid self harm and making choices that harm you and rob you of own sense worth.

Discipline is the key that unlocks all your potential, it this the life force that determines your destiny and it is the disciplines and rules you set for yourself that will ultimately determine where you end up.

The price is too high, not to have some rules for your life and my great hope for each and every one of you is that you create your own "modus operandi" for your life that lives and exists deep within your soul.

May the rules by which you live by travel with you and through you and be the light by which you carry yourself and may the standard you set for yourself and your life be an example for others but most importantly may they make you feel proud of the way in which you lived your life.
